FOR MY BIRTHDAY, WHICH ISN'T FOR A COUPLE MORE DAYS, PATTY AND I WENT TO THE JOHN MAYER / COLBIE CAILLAT CONCERT AT THE USANA. IT WAS GREAT! WE GOT 10TH ROW TICKETS FROM THE JOHN MAYER FAN CLUB (YES, I AM A MEMBER). THE MUSIC WAS TOP NOTCH - I'M A HUGE BLUES FAN AND HALF THE CONCERT WAS THE NEW BLUES SONGS FROM HIS NEW ALBUM CONTINUUM. ALL I CAN SAY IS HE REALLY ROCKED THE PLACE.

for those of you that don't know, july is my favorite month (not just because it's my birth month but) because it is also the month of the tour de france. i never miss a day tour de france madness. this year there are 2 american teams and with no lance armstrong anyone can win.

you have got to see this

even if you don't like U2 but you like concerts, you should see it. the 3d was soooo amazing that we thought that we had special seats on top of the cameras. you feel more than just being there, you feel that you are part of the band. The Edge and I are best friends - we let bono hang out sometimes

The Yogurt Incident

The other day we took Bailey with us for a drive and had to leave her in the car while we quickly stepped into the grocery store to buy something. Anyway, we decided to leave my left over yogurt from earlier on the dashboard thinking there was no way she'd be able to get any where near it. i don't know how she managed, but by the time we got back to the car she had more than finished it off. the yogurt was caked on her face. it was so funny, Mike and I laughed the whole way home. lol!!

Fun Day

I bet those of you who are or have been in our situation would agree that the last couple of weeks in school can be extremely stress full due to finals. So we decided, last Saturday, that before we lost our minds studying for butts off, we'd dedicate an entire day of stress free fun just for us. Of course this was all done on a budget and let me tell you the starving student card came in handy big time. We went shopping, ice skating, to the movies and out to dinner. It was lots of fun and it really helped us forget, at least for the day, about school and finals. I really recommend this for couples who are still in school, try it, if you haven't yet, and you'll see. Anyway, here are two pics of us ice skating that day.

I laugh every time I look at the bottom pic of Mike although the pic doesn't really capture what was really going on. From the time we got there till the time we left, he couldn't do a full circle around the ice rink without getting cramps on his feet. He blamed it on the skates even though he changed them a couple of times with different ones. lol!!
